Praga Caput Regni Board Game

“Praga Caput Regni” is a board game that places us in the court of Charles IV where, from his court, he supervises the construction of the bridge over the Vltava river, the university and the cathedral. Use an innovative share election system, manage your resources, get majorities around the squares and win the favor of the king.

In “Prague Caput Regni”, players take on the role of wealthy citizens organizing various construction projects in medieval Prague. By expanding their wealth and joining the construction, they win the favor of the king. Players choose from six actions on the game board that are always available, but loaded with a constantly changing set of costs and benefits.

Using these actions, you can increase your resources, improve the strength of your chosen actions and build the new city of Prague, the Charles Bridge or the city walls. You can earn additional actions or even participate in the construction of St. Vitus Cathedral.

You will have to discover the synergies between the actions, carefully programmed, and the rewards of the construction of civic projects, since all the mechanisms fit together. At the end of the game, the player who most impressed King Charles will be victorious.
